How it Works

How it Works :

  1. Get in touch! info@paintingforphotographers.com and share with me your website.
  2. I’ll review your imagery to evaluate whether I think we’ll be a good fit. Style strengths and image types are important for knowing whether I can guarantee good results.
  3. We’ll set up a shared Dropbox folder where you will send me the image your clients saw in the sales room, with the same edits you performed before they viewed their gallery. If you apply skin smoothing before the clients see their images, this should be removed. Original skin texture gives the best results when painted. The file should be a full-size jpg, psd or tiff. You should indicate the final size the image will be printed. This is extremely important information. Additionally, if you want me to copy a particular style, send some examples.
  4. It’s possible that images will be rejected for quality and/or size issues that cannot be remedied. It is also possible that the style you are expecting is outside my wheelhouse. I’m not afraid of admitting when I’m not up to a task.
  5. You will get a firm price on every image in advance. This is based on:
    $225 minimum,
$50 added for nature backgrounds, Architectural interior backgrounds will be assessed on an individual basis,
$50 per hour for advanced retouching, for example, face swaps, composition changes, clothing adjustments, glasses glare, etc. I have a very strong background in retouching, so you can rely on me to deliver excellent results (unlike some painters who are just painters).
    $20 for rush orders.
  6. Price includes:
    Basic retouching,
Background substitution, if you require it, my choice of background, or you provide your own.
Watermarked full size images for proofing,
    Four revisions,
  7. Before work is begun, a non-refundable deposit of $150 is paid.
  8. Within three weeks you will receive a watermarked version. Here’s where we do revisions.
  9. Once you are satisfied with the image, you pay the balance on the work, and I will send you two files with the watermark removed. One will be a PSD with the original and the painted version in two layers, the second will be a flattened, full size JPG for lab ordering.
  10. Because this is a digital product that cannot be returned, no refunds will be given. However, I will work hard to make sure that you are completely satisfied.
  11. Your images are yours. Ghost painting means that I do not reveal who I am, and I do not use the images in marketing. Images on this website were purchased from Shutterstock and transformed by me in the style and manner you can expect. If you are interested in releasing your images for marketing, I will attribute your studio
